Simple rule: the dropdown is the image you are currently on. Move Fade to next image and this image fades OUT while the next image fades IN at the same speed. Fade begins at is the exact moment that transition starts. When the fade finishes, the panel automatically moves to the next image.

Example: if the first 0.40 seconds are unwanted lead-in, set this to 0.40. Play and Restart will then begin at 0.40 while the original song file stays unchanged.

Word motion

Rise: the word travels smoothly from the lower edge to the upper edge at its saved X position, then finishes fading out. Use Preview word to see the actual timed motion. A newly added word named RISE defaults to this motion.

Manual editing: choose any word from the dropdown (or Previous / Next) and the song jumps to that word's timestamp. Then drag the visible word itself — clicking empty space no longer moves it.
