About

Songs written for real classrooms.

VOCA is a Vienna-based English-learning project that develops original songs into coordinated teaching materials and digital classroom experiences.

The idea grew out of real classroom teaching: songs children want to sing again, paired with lessons, worksheets, visual resources and interactive activities that teachers can actually use.

Meet Brandon

Songwriter, educator, and founder of VOCA Song School in Vienna.

Brandon is an American songwriter, native English speaker, English educator, and founder of VOCA Song School, a Vienna-based creative education business built around original music and song-based English learning.

VOCA grew out of Brandon’s experience teaching English to children in kindergartens, camps, and other educational settings. In the classroom, he began writing original songs to make vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and everyday English easier to understand and remember.

Some songs were inspired by recurring language mistakes he encountered among German-speaking learners; others grew directly from the topics and situations children were learning in class.

What began as individual teaching songs gradually became something larger.

Brandon saw that one song could provide the foundation for an entire learning experience—connecting music with lesson plans, worksheets, flashcards, visual resources, stories, movement, games, and interactive activities.

That idea became VOCA Song School.

Today, VOCA develops original songs into coordinated learning worlds for teachers, schools, kindergartens, families, and young English learners. Each song introduces and reinforces language through multiple formats, giving learners opportunities to hear it, see it, say it, move with it, recognize it, and use it.

Brandon’s work brings together songwriting, education, and creative product design. His approach is based on a simple idea: music can make language memorable, but its greatest educational value comes when the song connects to a broader, thoughtfully designed learning experience.

It starts with a song. It grows into a whole learning world.
